During the preventive maintenance period, with the objective to prevent potential defects in the future, our service engineers performed a replacement of the flexible couplings on Caterpillar generators CAT 3512 on the 72 m diesel electric motor yacht with the Azipod propulsion thrusters. A special goal was to have rails welded across the gen sets frames so that the front mounts can slide across, over the rail which have been supported from the bottom of the “I” beam to add stiffness.

We understand the specific demands for diverse application and as a part of the company development, we trained our service engineers for operation, maintenance and repair of MTU 538 series of marine engines. The course has been performed at MTU training center in Friedrichshafen, Germany during the November 2015.

The construction on the new Capax service hall, comprising a specialized laboratory for motor oil analysis, will begin during the first months of 2016 in Šibenik.

This year 4th annual yacht experts event hosted by Capax and International Yacht Collection took place in the Sibenik region.

We supervised the project through the docking period in SCT shipyard, ensuring that the requested works fits perfectly with the expectations of the Client.

February 6th, 2015 – In DEIF training centre in Skive, Denmark Capax technicians completed DEIF PPM 3 Service/ Designer training course.

January 7th, 2015 – Capax Ltd. was added to the Lloyd’s list of Facility approved surveyors. This appointment is a recognition of our work and appreciation of our service which is conducted, as Lloyd’s emphasizes, in a professional and efficient manner in accordance with good surveying practice.

October 15th, 2014 – Additional confirmation of Capax business excellence arrived from Regional Chamber of Commerce of Sibenik-Knin County as the company was awarded with Golden plaque in the category of best small business in 2013.
